Build Your Arabic Vocabulary with Audio CD, Second Edition ReviewActually there is a little grammar but only to help understand the words presented in this book. There are 16 sections with photos or cartoons for those who need visual input. The accompanying CD was immediately imported into iTunes for my iPad. The CD has short sections of words for pronunciation practice. This book is not for the absolute beginner but the student who is further along in study and needs some reinforcement. I deducted a star because the flashcards are small and not preforated. The front side presents the english word and the section number of study in the book, and the back side is the Arabic word. There are exercises like crosswords and word search with the answer keys in the back. There is also a section with instructions for how to take an arabic language exam.
