First Arabic Reader for beginners bilingual for speakers of English (Arabic Practice) ReviewI bought several books teaching Arabic, however you have to have at least the basic grammatical concepts down (conjugations of present tense verbs for example) and have mastered some vocabulary to be able to read them. This particular book is great if you are just starting. The sentences are short and most of the words and tenses are pretty simple in the beginning. The book begins with very simple words and phrases and progresses at a moderate pace to more difficult readings. There are a lot of dialogs and the stories are really enjoyable. I can't give it five stars because they promise free audio tracks on publisher's website. However I found only ten. I wonder where the rest is.First Arabic Reader for beginners bilingual for speakers of English (Arabic Practice) OverviewThe book consists of Elementary and Pre-intermediate courses with parallel Arabic-English texts. The author maintains learners' motivation by funny stories about real life situations such as meeting people, studying, job searches, working etc. The ALARM method (Approved Learning Automatic Remembering Method) utilize natural human ability to remember words used in texts repeatedly and systematically. The author had to compose each sentence using only words explained in previous chapters. The second and the following chapters of the Elementary course have only 29 new words each. All audio tracks are available on lppbooks.com for free download.
