They gradually build the language like Lego blocks as opposed to other methods where you are quickly overwhelmed. My sister and I listened to Michel Thomas's French course and we wished we would have had it when we first learned French. Ms. Jane Wightwick and Mr. Mahmoud Gaafar are fabulous teachers with the sense of humor that makes it fun to learn Arabic. Their anecdotes about the history and culture of Egyptian Arabic are fascinating. They have written other books together to teach Arabic that just add to this audio course and are available on Amazon if you search their names. Make sure to use the Michel Thomas Arabic Foundation course first. The Arabic Introductory course is just the first part of the Foundation course. I'm enjoying watching movies where I can start to understand the dialogue.
